The Doon Valley Railway is located at the former Dunaskin Ironworks in Waterside, near Patna in Ayrshire, Scotland.
We're just off the A713 signposted as 'The Scottish Industrial Railway Centre'.
Access is via the car park, located just after going over the railway bridge.
There is a regular bus service, No 52, from Ayr to Bellsbank operated by Stagecoach, https://www.stagecoachbus.com/promos-and-offers/west-scotland/stagecoach-west-scotland-guide-to-fares-and-tickets

YOU MUST NOT TRESPASS ON THE RAILWAY AT ANY TIME.
OUR SITE IS ADJACENT TO THE NETWORK RAIL LINE FROM AYR.
TRESPASSING ON ANY RAILWAY LINE IS DANGEROUS AND ILLEGAL.
